Initial Practical Information
At the end of 2025, the next stage of the pilgrimage of trust on earth organised by the ecumenical community of Taizé will take place in Paris and throughout the Île-de-France region. At the invitation of local Churches of different denominations, thousands of young people from across Europe aged 18 to 35 will come together for prayer and sharing, in a spirit of celebration and friendship. We look forward to welcoming you! The meetings is for young adults between 18 and 35 years old. Group leaders may be older.

From Tallinn to Paris, Pilgrims of Hope and Peace
On December 30, 2024, in Tallinn, Estonia, Brother Matthew, prior of the Taizé ecumenical community, announced the location of the next European meeting: it will take place in Paris and the entire Île-de-France region, from December 28, 2025 to January 1, 2026. À l’invitation de Mgr Laurent Ulrich, archevêque de Paris, et de tous les évêques catholiques de la province de Paris, se joignent les responsables protestants et orthodoxes, aux niveaux national et régional. Les trois co-présidents du Conseil des Églises chrétiennes de France, Mgr Éric de Moulins-Beaufort, le pasteur Christian Krieger et le métropolite Dimitrios ont ainsi signé un communiqué conjoint.
